Workplace Safety and Insurance Appeals Tribunal (WSIAT)
Appeals Resolution Officer (ARO)s’ decisions are final decisions of the WSIB. If you have received a negative decision by an ARO that you disagree with, you must file an appeal to the Workplace Safety and Insurance Appeals Tribunal within 6 months of the decision. A WSIAT hearing is the last level of appeal for injured workers and you will want to leave no stone unturned in looking for relevant evidence and in preparing your appeal.
If you require legal representation to defend your rights before the WSIAT, contact us today to schedule a consultation.
