Bruce Zevallos of RCR Legal Services Professional Corporation. knows the harmful effects of a work-related injury.

While working as a brick and stone mason, over time I sustained left shoulder injury because of the heavy and repetitive work associated as brick and stone mason, which meant I had to go through the WSIB system to gain compensation benefits. Upon filing a WSIB claim, the WSIB denied my claim as they were unable to find that my shoulder rotator cuff tears were related to my job duties as a Brick and Stone Mason. To resolve the dispute and secure WSIB benefits, I directly experienced the steps involved with developing a case strategy, securing supportive medical evidence, and the navigating the WSIB appeals system.

Advocating For Injured Workers

The multiple challenges I faced with securing Workers’ Compensation benefits made me passionate about empowering others to fight for their rights. So, to help secure the maximum compensation for injured workers’ injuries or occupational diseases, I became a Licensed Paralegal. Since the inception of my Paralegal firm in Ontario eleven years ago, I’ve chosen quality over quantity to achieve justice. It includes employing unique processes and technology to handle each case optimally.

Handling Sensitive Cases

I work with attention to detail, and my clients’ also count on my skill, experience, and care. Having walked in the shoes of injured workers in the past, I’ve made empathy the foundation of my practice. In addition, I’m committed to transparency when assessing a case. Therefore, each client will know where they stand, the work my team has done, and the schedule for completing the case successfully. Also, I find it incredibly rewarding on the numerous occasions our team have established WSIB entitlement claims for widows of deceased workers to secure WSIB survivor benefits. I am so pleased that we can bring a sense of justice when we successfully represent families of workers who have died from occupational cancers.

I have enjoyed sharing my story about the things which matter to me and how they influence the way I do business.

If you or someone you know could benefit from my expertise as an Injured Worker Advocate, I invite you to contact me. Please call (416) 222-2213 or email info@rcrlegalservices.com
